HOW TO FIND A CODE:
- Open the YouTube app on Smart TV or your streaming device and Go to the settings button:
- Scroll to link with TV code. Users will see a code on their screen.
- Continue with the steps in the Enter the Code section through your phone or tablet.
The TV code is made of numbers. If the code is made of letters, it is of no use and you have to repeat the steps above to get a numeric code.
HOW TO ENTER THE CODE:
- Through your smartphone or tablet, open the app of YouTube.
- Press or tab your profile picture and select setting
- Press Watch on TV option
- Tap Enter TV code and enter the TV code shown on your TV.
REMOTE DEVICES LINKED WITH A CODE:
- Select Watch on TV

Users can remove any linked devices by following the below steps. However, please note that once a device is removed, users will need to use a new code if they want to link the device again.
UNLINK THROUGH YOUR SMART TV OR STREAMING DEVICE:
- Through your Smart TV or streaming, open the app of YouTube.
- Go to the settings button
- Select Linked devices
- Select the unlink all devices to unlink all devices in one go.
UNLINK THROUGH YOUR PHONE OR TABLET:
- Through your phone or tablet, open the app of YouTube.
- Select your profile picture
- Select and enter setting
- Select Watch on TV
- Select Watch on TV
- Select Delete Devices
- Tab Delete to remove the linked Smart TV or streaming device.
